	Introduction :	K W Leong joined the MJC Apprentice School in October 2000 and began riding in races in April 2003. He was Champion Apprentice in 2002/2003 and again in the 2003/2004. In May 2004 he represented Macau in the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races and in February 2005 he represented the MJC at the Saigon Racing Club racemeeting.
